DocDoc, a startup that helps people find doctors in Southeast Asia, announced today that it has raised a $11.5 million SGD (about $8.6 million) series A. The funding will be used to expand DocDoc’s presence in the eight countries it already operates in (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, South Korea, and India), as well as tackle new markets.
